About Us

Loftus Engineers began in 1923 when Peter F. Loftus formed an engineering company bearing his name. Acquired in 1982 by Eichleay Engineers, Loftus grew in size and expanded its service offering. In 2002, we restructured into Loftus Engineers, LLC and continued our long tradition of providing valued engineering services.

We begin each project with a conversational diagnosis aimed at determining project goals and vision. What aspects of the project will you or your client value most? Is it speed, first cost, operating cost, durability, or something else? This crucial first step defines success for the project, and enables us to deliver services that meet those needs.

Our comprehensive database of actual project costs enables remarkably accurate construction cost projections at a project's early stage.

The vast experience of our staff, diverse areas of expertise, peer review program, and comprehensive portfolio enable thoughtful solutions presented clearly and specifically so you get the best bids possible and avoid unexpected costs, project delays, and potential litigation.

Finally, we're available to commission your building, manage the construction, turn key the installation, and assist with LEED Certification.
