Chuck Urso, P.E., RCDD Manager, Electrical Department Mr. Urso, is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Loftus Engineers. He is also a regional authority on low voltage, cabling systems for fire alarm, data, security, communications and power distribution. As Manager of the Electrical/Telecom Department, Chuck is responsible for all aspects of electrical telecommunications project development including site assessments, scope development, planning, estimating, specifications, design, construction services, and system commissioning. Chuck has over 20 years experience in the design of electrical systems for the construction of buildings. Chuck is experienced at analyzing complex projects and determining the most overall cost effective solution. As a Project Manager, his clients have included the U.S. Army, Bechtel Bettis, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Westinghouse Electric Company, and the Carnegie Library and Museum of Pittsburgh. He is experienced in illumination and power distribution for new and renovation projects.
